The Retreat at Market Square

It's DAY 1 in my new home at The Retreat at Market Square and I ❤️ it! I am not posting extensive pics because I am unpacking and no one wants to see that; therefore I'll share a few that show features I love! There are numerous floor plans but all I toured, and the one I chose, all have great interior finishes that are nearly new if not new! All are light, bright and well lit. My surprise? I chose a 1BR 1Ba floor plan and I have closets and storage everywhere! I have a pantry (besides tall kitchen cabinets), coat closet, laundry closet, linen closet and a bedroom closet! Bonus? You can get I patio that's screened in too! My chosen home has one --- and it's screened in too! I can't wait for spring. In addition to a secured mail room I can access our in-house gym and common areas. LOOK for

The Retreat at Market Square is a good place to live. It is safe, generally quiet and located in a convenient area. We have been living here for almost a year after moving from a northeastern city. The selling points for us were price, availability of top floor apt, location and friendliness of staff. If we have a negative thought included here, it would be the condition and appearance of the hallways. Carpets are showing their age and walls are lacking any character. Kind of a depressed appearance for a "luxury building". Similarly, in our unit the apartment fixtures are appearing old and heavily used. New carpeting is an improvement, but bare flooring is not good.

My husband and I have had only positive experiences here. I have renewed my lease twice by myself, and once with my husband. Jadyn and I have a wonderful rapport, and she makes it easy to talk to about maintenance issues, or just have a friendly conversation in passing. Michael is also the one to go to for any other issues that may arise. 20 out of ten would recommend!

Jadyn at the front desk has been absolutely amazing. She’s been incredibly helpful, attentive to every request, and always quick to respond. No matter what we need, she handles it with patience, professionalism, and such a positive attitude. Jadyn is always in great spirits and makes every interaction pleasant and stress-free. Nice place. Every thing is in good shape. It is a nice reno on the gym. But the mail room is absolutely ridiculous. There are packages everywhere. One has to sort though all packages (on the floor, in a freezing room) just to find the correct packages.
