The Randall Group

The Randall Group are the Owners of CTL Management, ctl owns a large sum of apartment complexes on the west coast. Never doing business with this business and recommend no one else too also, they don't negotiate pay for deletes and use a pay portal that has lots of Grammer issues and broken ui that looks very amateurish. Compounding the fact they also only have one so called collection agent called Leslie, who doesn't allow for direct contact, emails. To add to this the person has a history of being hostile to its customers/ clients showcasing a short tempered attitude towards folks who are generally in need of help. More then 10 years of repeated poor management and a Lawsuit from California. They still haven't learned.

I have a similar story to Alie Chan's. I received a collections notice from CTL, with the options of calling to make a payment. When you call, you're only given the option of leaving a voicemail for Leslie. She never returned any voicemails. I've since found this collections item on my credit report, and again attempted to contact CTL's collections department. I left 5 voicemails, and this time I did get a call back. Leslie called me back this time, refusing to accept or admit that she had never before returned my voicemails. Leslie went further to then raise her voice to a near shout, informing me that she would no longer communicate with me over the phone. When I asked how I should contact her, she repeated that it couldn't be over the phone, then hung up on me. I've initiated a dispute

I will never use any company associated with CTL Management again. The office or the credit companies made a mistake on my credit and it has been incorrect for years. Leslie, collections supervisor, seems to be the most miserable person. She clearly hates her life or her job and took it out on me. Ofcourse I have questions concerning why this mistake was made and how it will get resolved and how this will affect my credit. This mistake is not at all my fault and she seemed so bothered that I had questions. It was so bad I asked her if she was ok. I mean you never know something bad could of recently happened and maybe she didn't notice she was taking it out on others, but no. She made it clear and sarcastic she is fine and I am the problem. She continued to be rude and flat out mean. I ask

I don't understand what these slumlords have to do with a nice children's hospital. I hope the children at their hospital are treated better than the tenants in the buildings they own. I have been one of their tenants since 2007, at a two-bedroom apartment in southeast Portland. They have more than DOUBLED the rent since I moved in, while making ZERO improvements on the building. In fact, it is deteriorating, with appliances constantly breaking, mold in the walls that is never addressed, and ancient wall-to-wall rugs that are never replaced unless tenants move out. Slumlords. They are slumlords. This is what they are. I dont even remember having any affiliation with this group or company. they have a collection against me and I have called many of times trying to get it settled but they 1)never answer and 2) dont even try to return my calls. totally unacceptable this is actually stoping me from getting a Mortgage for a new home.
