Customer Reviews
My daughter has resided at The Prov for the past 3 years. During that 3 years it has been nothing but problems. The management staff if beyond rude and not helpful and often times condescending. She has walked into the office and the managers are yelling at each other. When an issue is brought to their attention they do everything they can to sweep it under the carpet. The apartments are in need of updates, the couch, when she moved in has scratches from a cat all over it. It had an odd smell, and the dryer vent needed to desperately cleaned. The dryer gave off a weird smell. When reported to the office they said there was nothing they could do about the couch, the odd smell was "normal" and that she would need to clean the whole dryer vent. When management staff does their job and puts in
Critiques: I like the property for affiliated student housing. I think the new company staff may simply be introverted, stressed, or adjusting to a large influx of residents, but I do wish they seemed more excited and engaged in their roles. I’ve visited the property three times to get a feel for the environment, and each time I got the impression that the staff seemed overwhelmed and hate their job. I definitely want to live there, but I personally wouldn’t want to interact with the staff much based on my experiences so far. They weren’t very welcoming to me or to other residents when I observed. When I or others asked questions, I felt like we were treated as a chore rather than a future community member or current residents. Every impression I gain from the staff was disorganized and un
I would just like to say as someone that doesn’t live here but knows people that do, I can honestly say this place is great. my boyfriend stays here and I had gotten some mail delivered to him with my name. They were very respectful and friendly towards me (non-resident). Their apartments are really nice and come at a reasonable price considering they come fully furnished and with in unit laundry.
This apartment complex is a joke. The maintenance people don’t fix anything they come in your home and move stuff around to make it look like they did something and then mark the job completed. The leasing office never answers the phone. When u go to the leasing office for assistance most of them can’t help you without a managers assistance. And the managers are in “meetings” for over an hour. Also the fobs they give u for ur apartment and community access have a limit on them or something because after a couple months you have to return to the leasing office to get community access again on ur fobs. Which A.k.a. Means u can’t get into the apartment complex gates if your fob isn’t working.
I have been living at The Province for 3 years, and since Grey Star took over, everything has become a mess. Since they came, the rent has increased to the roof, but the quality of management and maintenance has significantly declined. Recently, the AC stopped working and I had no hot water during freezing weather. I called the emergency number, but maintenance was delayed and I got sick because of the cold inside my apartment. There was also a serious accident very close to my room where two parked cars in their parking lot were badly damaged. Our cars are not safe on their property. I was in panic because I did not know what was happening. The previous management always sent emails to inform residents about any incident, but this time no one communicated anything. During the snow, the
