The Pointe at Harpers Mill

Do not live here if you value peace and quiet. Walls are incredibly thin. You can hear your neighbor cough, sneeze, microwave beep, etc. That being said, this neighborhood is plagued by lower class people who have zero respect for their neighbors and will blast music in their unit, in their car (which will be parked less than 15 feet from your sofa in your living room) or on their front porch (which is shared between you and one of your neighbors depending on your floor plan). Every day on Marc road is loud bass thumping your walls and weed smell flowing through the neighborhood from the same people/unit that you’ll be aware of right away. The people in the leasing office are nice and typically take complaints seriously, which is the only reason I’m not leaving a 1 star review. Unfortunat

So I’ve been active duty Army for almost 10 years now … I’ve rented all over the country … horrible experiences in many different complexes. And here’s what I have to say about harpers … - friendliest and most caring staff I’ve ever encountered (Nicole moved me in years ago and I’m pretty sure she’s still there!!) - the BEST neighborhood of any I’ve moved around. I truly was blessed by having the BEST block on Harper for years. My neighbors are my best friends right now. We’re all STILL in a group chat … so much diversity and strong relationships … the hardest part of the move was leaving the neighbors - maintenance was ALWAYS quick and courteous. The few requests I had were ALWAYS taken care of quickly and the workers were fantastic - next to a super market, wawa, mall, school, POLICE STA

**Update: I’ve updated the stars due to the help I received from office management. Management along with maintenance came to my home and repaired some sealing issues that we believe to be where the bees were coming in from. Office management also informed me that they are making a reminder in my account so they come back once spring hits to make sure I don’t have the same experience this year. ** I have called about bees getting into my kitchen while all doors are closed and locked 3 times and nothing has been done. Today I come home to roughly 20 bees in there and call for emergency maintenance as I don’t want my dog or I to be stung and was told I should get some spray and handle it myself. So if you plan to rent here and have an allergy to bees, I suggest keeping an epi pen on hand.

Tracy was very helpful with providing a tour. She is very insightful about the property. Unfortunately, the townhouse wasn’t something for me.
