The Phoenix

THE BEST apartment community I have been in! Highly recommend! The pros: very walkable area with plenty of restaurants, stores, etc within a mile or two. The train is really close as well. Made going to Dallas and the airport a breeze! The building was always clean and well maintained and parking was simple; overall quiet area. The best part of this complex, though, was the staff. The people in the office and the service technicians were the most professional, kind, and organized group! If nothing else, lease with them for the people! The con (which really isn’t a big deal): a few homeless in the area. Never felt unsafe but worth knowing. Moved out of the area or I probably would have stayed here forever! Can’t recommend enough! Go check them out!

I lived at the Phoenix for 24 months and very much enjoyed my time there. If not for personal reasons I would have stayed longer! The Phoenix is perfectly situated for those wanted an urban lifestyle but without the pace or hassle of being in a very busy location. It’s easy to walk, bike or bus to downtown and all of the Near Southside. The surroundings are generally very quiet, the only thing I would warn is that trash trucks picking up from surrounding businesses can come in the middle of the night and are very loud. Amenities are lovely as well, and the building feels very secure, especially with the enclosed hallways. Where do I begin with how much I've loved The Phoenix as my home for the past 1.5 years? It was my first real apartment outside of student housing right before graduating, and I had definitely gotten burned before with previous properties' empty promises of fixing things only for them to break down again, amenities closed down half the time, indifferent office staff, and the like. But I can honestly say living at The Phoenix, they mean what they say and they hold themselves to a higher standard. I have encountered NONE of the things I've experienced before at other apartments: Trey, the Maintenance Manager, is always on top of any maintenance requests/work orders put in- and gets them done right the FIRST time and has excellent communication throughout the process. I’ve waited a few months since moving into The Phoenix to write my review. I moved in February, completely new to Fort Worth, leaving my hometown was a big leap for me, but The Phoenix has made the transition feel seamless and welcoming. From the beginning, Kimberlee was amazing. She gave me a thorough tour of the complex and the unit I ultimately chose. She was incredibly knowledgeable about both the property and the surrounding area. Throughout the process, she was kind, responsive, and patient, even when I sent multiple follow-up emails (which she always answered with a great attitude!). Moving into The Phoenix in Downtown Fort Worth was a great experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making the process smooth and stress-free. The maintenance staff, Trey and Aaron, are incredibly helpful. I had minor issues at move-in that were fixed in less than 24 hours. The gym is really nice and has everything you need to skip going elsewhere most days. I even noticed something that needed repair, and it was corrected very quickly. The neighborhood is surprisingly quiet, which is perfect for relaxing after a long day. Plus, the easy access to the freeway makes commuting a breeze. Overall, it’s been a fantastic place to call home!
