The Park Santa Monica Apartments

I’ve never moved out of an apartment in just one year I usually stay 3–5 years. That should tell you everything about my experience here. The building itself is cheaply built. Paper-thin walls, shoddy construction and at one point, a piece of the guest bathroom ceiling fell on my head. I sent photos to management and urged them to inspect all units, but they didn’t care. Luckily I only got minor scratches, but this could have seriously hurt someone else. Once the amenities hype fades, you realize you’re just paying a premium for a basic apartment. The rooftop gym was a big selling point for me, but it’s constantly taken over by fitness classes for non-residents. I absolutely love living at the park! I’ve lived here for almost 2 years, I couldn’t be happier! Everyone that works here is so easily accessible and ready to help and makes everything a fun and enjoying community living experience. Highly recommend!

I couldn't be happier with The Park! Thank you to Addison for making me feel at home from my first visit and for making the move-in process so smooth. I highly recommend him as a leasing agent for his great communication, professionalism and kindness. This building is the nicest on the west side of LA by far in terms of unit finishes, amenities, views and beach access. I am obsessed with the 1 acre rooftop here, the sunsets and free daily workouts are especially memorable.

The Park is the most overpriced apartment building in Santa Monica with rapidly deteriorating service. Having been there since day 1, we are rapidly moving out. The owners of the building are defaulting and headed towards bankruptcy, and with it goes the service - which is a large part of what you pay for. Homeless people everywhere, security concerns, smell of pee, lost packages in the mailroom repeatedly, and a staff that stopped to care. This building looks great on pictures and once was great, now everyone is moving out and they are fighting to fill their units. As a long term tenant who has been there since the opening, I strongly encourage everyone to not buy into the trap and rent elsewhere

Apartment is nice but don't be fooled by the aesthetics, the leasing department is your worst nightmare and WILL make your life difficult. My 2 years here have not been great because of them. Stay away. Especially with some nicer buildings opening literally next door. I can't wait to leave this place, hopefully in the next few weeks.
