The Park at Forest Hill Apartments

My experience was a non-experience. I found this lovely site on the internet and booked a tour. Brought a family member with me, showed up at the right time, and no one was there. We came back a bit later, and the leasing agent told me "There are no availabilities." I explained that I had a morning appointment, but she said NO vacancies. So why was I able to make an appointment? It's a mystery. So I asked her if she would take my information to get on a list or whatever, and she said they don't do that. So I asked, "how do I find out when apartments are available?" and she replied that I needed to GO TO THE WEBSITE. I don't think she even understood how stupid an answer that was, since it was the WEBSITE I'd used to book my initial appointment! I will also say, there was no courtesy extend

Unresponsive maintenance. Have had a problem with the smell of cigarettes in my apartment since the day I moved in and I do not smoke. Even though it says they have a no smoking policy. Very disappointing how it’s been months with this problem.

Nola Peaco has been amazing and extremely responsive since we moved here for the VCU fall semester. She maintained me updated as to the status of my lease application and any documentation that would be needed well before moving date……Let me tell you, this community is but a 5 minute drive to downtown Richmond or VCU. Park at Forest Hill has the feel of a suburban community without the long drive to everything RVA has to offer. I have been impressed with the responsiveness of management and the cleanliness of how our apartment was delivered. If I could provide a higher rating than 5 stars I would!!

Nola was great! She made the moving in process so quick and simple and never got stressed over my silly questions

I have been living here since 2015 and have seen many property management companies and managers come and go. The current regime is probably the worst. They have had tremendous turnover with property managers and service staff. They take forever to address service important service requests and Nola and the office staff show no interest in solving matters quickly and efficiently. I have submitted a service request for a new AC unit that was incorrectly installed in June. I have submitted multiple request because the condensation from the unit in spilling onto our carpet, padding, and subfloor. They have came by to "fix it", but it has gotten worse with each visit. At some point, experienced staff would have a regional manager or contractor, but Nola seems content with the fact that the sub
