The Park at Clear Lake

This apartment was not move-in ready. When we moved in, the front door looked like the unit had been broken into. Instead of properly fixing it, maintenance covered it up before move-in. After a month of complaint, maintenance installed a new door — and installed it incorrectly, making the problem worse. There were open gaps around the door leading directly outside, creating a security issue and forcing me to pay to air-condition the outdoors. My electric bill that month was double my normal cost. Maintenance marked the job complete and office management accepted it without inspection. Nothing was taken seriously until I threatened code enforcement. I like my apartment so far. For the price, you can’t expect luxury. My toilet was clogged, none of the shelves or closets had not been wiped down or cleaned, & I found some dead roaches in a couple closets when I moved in. Other than that, it’s just a plain, basic apartment. Carpeted in my unit, white appliances, a balcony, resurfacing of the counter tops and tub. I can tell my unit was in bad shape before I moved in but it looks pretty decent. I may need lamps tho because there’s no light fixtures in the bedrooms or ceiling fans. The leasing process was fast & easy.( 3xs the rent, employment verification is required, app & admin fee, also they charge for water, trash, & insurance. Must have vehicle registered *because towing is strictly enforced* & lights have to be cut on upon move in) J

Laundry mat always has homeless people sleeping in it and leaving trash and peeing on top of the washers and dryers. There are only 2 working washer and dryers and people are always stealing clothes. Apparently everyone has been calling the office to help get maintenance to clean it up but it’s been several days now and still there 👎 😷🤢 also every single apartment you walk into or people you talk to will tell you that it’s infested with roaches and not just a roach here and there they’re EVERYWHERE!!!

Absolutely love living here! The apartments are spacious, clean, and well-maintained, and the community feels welcoming and safe. Management is always responsive and helpful, making it easy to get any issues resolved quickly

Very quite complex with beautifully upgraded units and reasonable rents. There are lots of long term residents and great neighbors that are considerate and friendly.  The apartment personnel are very responsive, especially Jessica, she has been so helpful!
