The Oaks of Woodland Park Apartments

This is honestly the first time I have reviewed somewhere I have lived and not given them a 5, so know Im not being dramatic with this review. I’m writing this to hopefully save someone from having the most miserable year of their life. I’ve lived in Florida for many years in many different apartments and have NEVER had roach issues like this one. I understand Florida has roaches, but we killed 20+ daily. We are going to be throwing out a lot of our stuff as well. They came to spray almost weekly “allegedly” but nothing changed. Additionally, it was the loudest, most obnoxious, trashiest place I have EVER lived. The neighbors are insanely disrespectful and will keep you up with obnoxious levels of music at all hours of the day. Noon? The music is loud. 4pm? Loud. 10pm? Even louder. Managem

I tried to give this place the benefit of the doubt even after all the lies and putting me and my boyfriend in a really bad position but I things can only add up so high before you’re done. They allowed us to sign a lease for a unit they were fully aware another tenant had driven a car through and lied to us telling us everything should be fine by move in. After no communication from them for almost a month on the matter we followed back up just to be told we had no choice but to sign another lease for a much lesser unit. What really stood out to me, though, was the exceptional customer service. Jade, the representative who assisted me, went above and beyond to answer all my questions and make me feel comfortable throughout the process. She was warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about making sure I had all the information I needed. Her professionalism and friendly demeanor truly made the experience outstanding. I recently had an unfortunate situation where my upstairs neighbor’s kitchen leak came pouring into my kitchen. It was a stressful experience, but the office staff and maintenance team were incredibly responsive. They acted quickly, fixed every issue, and made the whole situation so much easier to handle. In moments like this, it truly makes a difference to have a management team that cares and takes action right away. I really appreciate their professionalism and quick support!

Do not apply at this location they will decline applications and not honor the administration $200 fee. They will come up with excuses and delays as to why your money has not been returned. Seek other communities that honor their policy. These lessons company steals applicants money. They also discriminate I uploaded my one month bank statement they did not want to believe my income than demanded I gave them access to my full bank account though a third party app. Mind you they feel entitled to your bank history, expenses etc. had I been Caucasian they would have never questioned my income verification!
