The Oakley at Hillcrest

So much construction and removing of the trees which was the main reason I chose the place in the first place. Had some friendly interactions with neighbors but also some very rude interactions, really the only positive is the maintenance man Steve, super friendly and always quick to fix any issues. When it came time to renew the lease, they were raising the rent by close to 300. Also, our VERY first night our neighbor was murdered. Not a great experience.

Best part is Steve. He deserves to be paid more and retire early! Rent raise was insane for mediocre and inconvenient “improvements” to the property. Apartment itself was fine. Had neutral or negative experiences with other residents, but it is relatively quiet aside from the murder.

I live here currently. I don’t understand why the windows have mold and I put in a work order and they keep closing it like it has been completed. My stay here is very short not happy.

Been here a total of 4 years. As usual in the apartment complex world we have new owners again. Now for the changes...half of the beautiful trees have been removed so it's no longer as naturesk as it was. The office area used to make you feel welcome but now just get in and get out! It used to be nice to sit on the patio and enjoy the scenery but now I see more buildings than trees. The appeal is gone. Melissa(office mgr.) is very good at her job and willing to help you with what she can but her hands are tied. Steve(maintenance) does a fantastic job resolving maintenance issues if you have any. Bottom line...what once was unique in the apartment complex world is gone. The apartments are nice and most people friendly but it's just an apartment complex.

We have lived here going on 5 years and we love it! Very quiet small apartment complex, staff is great and helps with anything you need in a timely manner! Big spacious units with real fire place and Only complex I’ve seen with covered parking which is great!
