Customer Reviews
While I appreciate the convenient location and affordability, you honestly get what you pay for here. I overall thought it was a pleasant experience until I encountered problem after problem. First, I found mold on my bedroom door and over the cabinets in the bathroom. I began to get seriously ill and presented the issue to the complex. I was gaslit by staff because they didn't take me seriously until I complained several times and they had a "professional" company inspect. In fact, it was mold and it was infested with it. Additionally, the apartment was infested with roaches, mainly in the kitchen under the refrigerator. Also, the mold team didn't get all of the mold the first time and when I told management about the mold still on the bathroom door, the literally came in and wiped it off
The management switch was the best thing that ever happened to this place. You can really tell they care about the residents and making this place a home instead of just student apartments. Everytime I come into the office Im greeted with warmth and they really make an effort to talk with me like theyve known me for a long time. I wish I wasnt going back home after graduating because I would stay just for the turnaround alone
Internet worked perfectly fine until this past winter break where they decided to just completely change the system in the middle of the school year knowing that a vast majority of their residents are students. Can't get ethernet from the ports because they didn't think to schedule them to be installed before they switched systems. Overall wifi is terrible compared to before and has actively cut out and made me miss online class and is just a pain. Claim it's better and faster but it does not work nearly as well, assuming it was just cheaper and that's why they switched. Optimum sucks.
Edit to address response: 1. I have had maintenance issues BEFORE the email was sent regarding the overflow of maintenance request. I can name every maintenance man that’s worked here starting as far back as Danny who had ME reset my dryer daily rather than fixing it. I was shocked from doing this . 2. I called three times and went to the office twice and left a note on the door before leaving this review & this was still the only way I received any contact from the management. 3. I’m happy you’ve ordered the paint but perhaps the hole itself should be fully covered before you do that? 4. Maybe people are stealing from the grab & go to compensate for the other amenities they’re paying for but we don’t have. 5. If your staff were in the office when they said they would be then maybe things
Honestly would not recommend moving here. I don’t even think it is affordable anymore either. I moved in last year and despite having a cleaning team come in before I moved in I still had to clean so much hair and nasty residue from the last tenants. On top of that they thought that fixing a broken drawer meant with duck tape. The management was absolutely awful too and you couldn’t tell which issue they would take seriously and fix right away. Our door knob was broken and despite me reporting it and literally going to the office to ask, it took almost a month for us to be able to lock the door from the outside. At some point multiple residents were double charged for the electric and it took 3 months after it happened and new management to fix it. The new management is nice and in my opin
