UPDATE: To be clear, when I said there’s been no communication, I didn’t mean management is unaware of the issue. I meant that there’s been no new information …no clear, actionable plan or reassurance about how this infestation will actually be resolved. Pest control told us they would communicate a plan for our apartment to management, who would then follow up with us, but that has never happened….only that they’re working on the issue. We’ve been receiving the same treatments for months with no resolution, and the lack of follow-through after confirming the issue extends beyond our unit is extremely concerning. Since I moved in May 2022 I haven't had any issues. When I needed maintenance, I request a visit and someone is always there the same day or the next. I moved into a newly renovated apartment, so it looked very fresh (they must have fought against time, because there are imperfections that are visible to the naked eye). Despite everything, I like my apartment and I stayed for another year. I use the gym and the swimming pool - both places are clean and well-kept. The only thing they could improve is the laundry room, there could be better washing machines. Overall, I recommend The Nelson Apartment Homes!

We moved out of Nelson Apartments after living there for sometime. I will keep it short and very honest. Pros : closer to main road, bus stops and Bellevue markets. Home appliances are new Cons: Pests - roaches, Stink bug, spiders (yes we trusted in words given by Maekala - property manager) but as usual business trick played on us. Dog poop minefield in backyard (Dog owners will never pickup waste and you have to be watchful when walking within premises) Outdated apartments with wood floor creaking noise wherever you walk. Outdated Laundry units (you have to get your own private machines). CAR PARKING is available but not available - You heard it right, tenants will NEVER find an empty spot. Biggest problem of all. Booked a tour through them and confirmed it. We showed up to an empty locked office. We waited around for almost an hour because the sign said they’d be back in 9min… they never showed. While waiting I noticed people having to park far from their buildings and walk through the rain because of terrible parking. I also noticed there are no side walks on property. I didn’t get to see the unit, but looks like my time was saved by being wasted after all…
