The National

If you want to live close to the square you must look at The National for your apartment. The buildings are beyond beautiful. My apartment is so perfect. It includes large washer and dryer. They have stairs If you want to use them, however the elevators are such an added plus. The onsite Gym is amazing. The staff, Kelsey, Lizzy, Emma and Chris are absolutely awesome. They helped me remotely get in my apartment when I left my key fobs in the apartment. That’s the other thing this is the safest building I have ever lived in. No one can get into your apartment without a key fob programmed for your apartment only. Same with the lobby and the elevator doors after hours. They do have an app you can download to be able to remotely open the lobby and door to the elevators for deliverie

We had a wonderful experience living at The National. Kelsey and Lizzy were kind and helpful, making both moving in and moving out seamless and stress-free. The apartment is beautiful, perfectly located, and close to everything we needed. Highly recommend!

I have lived here about a month now and the place is very grimy. The apartment I moved into had so many issues and was not inspected before I moved in. I really wanted to like this place but it’s just really dirty and smelly all the time. The water had a funny smell, water damaged under the cabinets wasn’t fixed, wobbling cabinet panel where the fridge goes wasn’t fixed, and the apartment floor had sticky stuff all over it. It was awful.

The National Apartments is an amazing place to live! The location is absolutely perfect, and the community has such a great vibe. Kelsey, the Community Manager, is awesome — always friendly, helpful, and truly goes above and beyond for her residents. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a new home in downtown Gainesville!

I just wanted to share a quick update. It’s now been a year since I moved in, and I’ve truly enjoyed living here. I did run into a small hiccup with the renewal process, partly because I had been emailing the wrong address, but the team resolved it quickly. As This is a very well-managed and well-maintained community. It’s a fantastic place to live!
