The Mount Royal

Recently my son had an issue with respect to his apartment at the Mount Royal in Baltimore. Property Manager Michael Queen took care of the situation quickly, efficiently and with professionalism. He demonstrated that he is a highly-skilled manager with problem-solving skills. Moreover, he understands his client-base while remaining respectful and helpful to everyone. Len A.M.

⭐☆☆☆☆ The apartment itself is okay, but the water and sewage fees are extremely high. Water costs are over 50 per ton, and sewage fees are more than 80 per month, which is far above average compared to other apartments. I hope the management can clarify the pricing and make the charges more reasonable.

I have lived here for the past 2 years while completing my graduate degree and have had a fabulous experience! The building is located in a great part of the city that is within walking distance of restaurants, bars, Penn station, and the beautiful Washington Monument. I was fortunate to have moved into a top floor apartment and the city views were unbeatable (pictured below)! The staff is extremely friendly and helpful and were always available to answer questions or address concerns. Additionally, any maintenance issues I had were resolved within a day. The building has also undergone some great changes within the past 2 years including newly renovated elevators and a package locker system. I have lived in Mt. Royal for a couple of months and I can gladly say this is the most professional and diligent management team I have seen in all my years in Baltimore. The team has been extremely responsive to all of my needs before and after I signed my lease. They have also been quite flexible and generous with my lease and concessions. On the facilities side, they have been really efficient with repairs. I haven’t had to wait for more than 24 hours on any maintenance request as they usually complete them the same day. If I wasn’t moving away to a new city, I would have gladly stayed at Mr. Royal. I highly recommend this apartment complex and its great location (3 minute walk from my front door to Penn Station)!

Great building, friendly staff, very prompt maintenance that always gets the job done quickly. I want to give a shout out to Nishawn and Deepak. They’re always able to assist with all the maintenance request and are kind, professional, and always have a smile on their face. I also want to thank Josh and Micheal in the main office for being on top of everything and helping create an amazing resident experience. 5 stars, highly recommend. It’s also a great location for students who attend University of Baltimore or JHU and the surrounding universities.
