The Morison Apartments

I rented a one bedroom apartment in The Morison for a few months, and it is easily the best rental experience I have ever had. The location is great, the units are well-maintained, it's quiet, and the property manager Jackie was wonderful. It's not the cheapest place in Mount Vernon, but I think the apartments are priced very reasonably considering the amenities and quality of the building. It's also in a historic mansion that has a lot of character. I have to move out in a couple of months and wish I could stay!

I loved my time here. I have had a terrible experience in the past with slum lord landlords and Jackie has renewed my hope! She has been very helpful and seems to genuinely want to help her tenants. The building is a fun old mansion built by Nathaniel Morrison who was instrumental in the growth of of the Peabody Institute. It has been repurposed into a series of apartment and studios with new appliances in a friendly neighborhood. I have and would recommend checking them out to anyone I know looking for a place in the area!

I stayed here for over a year. I moved to the Morison for their high ceilings and large windows. Never had a single issue with maintenance and help was always a call away. I would definitely recommend

The manager is not taking the responsibility. It’s super hard to reach out to them. When they got a request, it depends on their instant mood whether they want to help you out. You have to buzz them multiple times before you can get assistance with unsatisfactory service:( Worst, my unit is not ready on the day I moved in. Too ridiculous.
