The Montclair a 55+ Community

This is a lovely, peaceful place to live. The building is well taken care of, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Marisa and Laura do a fantastic job, always friendly and quick to help. Perfect spot for seniors looking for comfort and care.

Living here was a really positive experience. The building is quiet, clean, and has a cozy, homey feel that makes you feel comfortable right away. What truly makes this place special is Marisa and Laura, they are both so kind and genuinely care about the residents. They’re always available, ready to help, and they go out of their way to make sure everything is taken care of. It’s a peaceful, friendly community, a great place for seniors looking for a safe and well-managed home. I highly recommend it.

Could not be any happier with this location. It is a great community of people with great amenities. Rules are VERY reasonable and well thought out to give all a good quality of life here. Management are very upfront about what property guidelines are when you sign your lease. We have had no surprises. We’d like to thank Marissa and Laura for their efforts to make this such a wonderful place to live.

Not for us and l do not recommend it for those who still work. Management Team was good to her word and let us out of lease without penalty. Overall better than the marijuana haven (yuck) that we left. Great amenities, beautiful grounds, attentive maintenance who quickly rectify new building growing pains. The negtives for some residents who work: - cut off amenity access at 7pm, pool does not open til 10am, excercise room does not open til 9am and closes early too. If you're not completely retired you probably want to go somewhere else.

I called on a Sunday morning at 9:30 am for an available 2 bed 2 bath unit and explained that my wife had just suffered a stroke and desperately needed to rent the apartment to be near Albany Medical Center. I was told I could meet with them on Wednesday at 11am. I asked if there was anything I needed to do and was told that the apartment had been vacant for two months so no worries. I arrived at my appointment at 11:00 am sharp to meet with Laura Crisafulli. She met me at the door with, "Well I have good news and bad news...the apartment you came to rent has already been rented but I have another one coming up soon that you can have if you want".....I couldn't believe she was saying this to me and then went on to explain that someone else came to see the unit on the same Sunday i called b
