Rose at Chastain at the Mill was absolutely amazing. She helped me find a unit and was so friendly, kind, and welcoming throughout the entire process. She made everything feel easy and stress free, and you could tell she genuinely cared about the complex as a whole and helping me finding something I loved. I also love how much care is put into the appearance of the community. Both the interior and exterior are beautifully maintained, and everything feels clean and thoughtfully cared for! Such a great experience overall. I would highly recommend this community, especially if you have the chance to work with Rose! :)
I had a wonderful experience today with Rose, the only manager on staff. Despite the office being very busy, she made my family and me feel like we were the only applicants there. Rose was extremely pleasant, knowledgeable about the apartment availability and the community grounds, and had the most amazing personality. I visited with my daughter, who will soon be moving out on her own for the first time as she begins her professional career. Rose took the time to walk us through the step-by-step application process and gave us an informative on-site tour. Our overall experience was excellent and the service, the apartment, and the community all exceeded our expectations. Rose truly made this visit special! Great location - have many restaurants and malls nearby. Reasonable rent compared to other places we saw. Pool is open only May to September and have le,aves floating around all the time. Had cookouts, movie nights, and other activities organized by the management often, which was really great. But be careful of all the different charges apart from the rent like pest, sewer, water, utility reimbursement, etc. Other places I have lived have had everything included in a single rent, which made your monthly cost more predictable. So keep in mind those charges and don't look at the rent alone. Also, make sure you see the actual unit you are leasing. We came from another state for 1 day to tour different apartments. They did not allow us to see the actual apartment and showed us a model unit. T
The Mills have been a great experience so far and this is before even moving in! I would like to say first most that everyone I have met through the touring and application process have been nothing but wonderful. From the maintenance crew to the property managers, I knew I was in good hands. As someone who was searching for a good apartment to move into for months, I could not find any place better than the Mills in all honesty. I want to thank Ms.Rose and Ms.Michelle for answering any questions that needed answers and for taking the time to help. Beautiful ladies inside and out! My experience with this property was extremely disappointing and handled in a way that raises serious concerns about management practices. After being a long-term tenant, I was charged for alleged “damages” that were clearly normal wear and tear and the result of long-standing maintenance issues that were repeatedly reported and never properly addressed. Ongoing water damage, delayed or ignored repair requests, and aging conditions were present throughout my tenancy, yet these same issues were later used as a basis for charges after move-out. There was no move-out inspection, no opportunity to correct or dispute anything in person, and no meaningful documentation provided to support the claims.
