Customer Reviews
I am moving out on August 29th, 2025, and stayed at Mercantile for one full year; Brian, Jose, Georgie, and Stella at the Mercantile management team have been incredibly helpful and superb, and I would sincerely recommend it to anyone searching for a property in Philadelphia, as I have already done so to my friends and colleagues.
Refused to have a tour after work hours or on weekends. I used PTO to be able to come see this apartment. Brian never showed up and on top of that, Georgie stopped responding. What a blatant disrespect of my time. I would never rent from them.
The only good thing about this apartment was the view from the windows, Mark Anderson who is supposedly the building manager never answers his phone (especially when we needed him like the time the building fire alarm kept sounding and the fire department came and asked for him), they took weeks to fix our maintenance requests (we spent a month without a working oven), and they are INCREDIBLY DISORGANIZED as I constantly got incorrect charges (like charged double for rent) and would have to track down someone to fix it numerous times. Do not live here. If i could give 0 stars I would.
Absolutely terrible service. Any question I asked was responded to by an AI pretending to be a person, but I know its an AI because it said so. When i finally scheduled a viewing for an apartment, they cancelled half an hour before the showing saying they just rented it out and offered to show an apartment that wasn't even enough bedrooms. I havent had any contact with them since March, and now in September they're asking me for a review of their service. I'm not even sure anyone works there because everything seems to be automated, and badly at that.
Loved the apartment location. Communication with property management was difficult.
