The entire McKernon Group is a dream team. From Justus Cameron, to the construction guys, the architects on staff, the cabinet builders, etc…all top notch. They have done an enormous amount of work on our property and all of it has turned out spectacularly. They won’t disappoint!

You know how you hear those stories about general contractors disappearing, stealing, or making clients miserable? Justus Cameron is literally the opposite of that. My circumstances created more pressure for Justus than a normal build and his response was just to rise to the challenge. He was always patient and always kind. This is a guy who did not roll off of the general contractor assembly line. Spare yourself...work with McKernon.

We reached out to ask for examples of the kind of work we are looking for and they responded by setting up an appointment to come by our home. We rearranged our day to accommodate and then they blew us off without notice. They were appallingly rude in all email and text correspondence and, though they advertise in the Adirondack Life, have decided that work in Lake Placid/Saranac Lake is "too far from home base." While the overall lack of basic respect and integrity is shocking, I am grateful to have seen the true colors of The McKernon Group prior to hiring. I will happily share more about my experience with anyone who is considering hiring this company.
