The Magnolias At Hernando

Need some upgrades. 20 year old complex with still some of the original fixtures and flooring. As residents moveout upgrades are made based on wear and tear and functionality.

My husband and I love it here. The Magnolias are great and the staff are too. But most of all is the new Manager who is a very caring person and a wonderful Manager. She cares about keeping people happy. We are blessed to have her. Great place to live.

The new management employees has completely let this place go downhill. They clearly don’t care about the amenities or residents’ experience. The gym equipment is poorly maintained, the sanitizing wipe holder has been broken for over a week, and nobody bothers to fix it. I was there when a resident reminded them, and the staff member said she would take care of it — but here we are, more than seven days later, and still nothing. The gym bathroom is filthy and clearly not cleaned regularly. The laundry room is also a mess — dirty, unorganized, and constantly neglected. It’s unbelievable how careless this new management has become. There’s no attention to cleanliness, maintenance, or even basic standards. Very disappointing and frustrating to see how far things have declined.

I live here and have always found the staff to be kind, attentive, helpful and it feels like they truly care for the well being of those that rent apartments here. Candy was amazing and it was a true loss to lose her but the new staff are trying to fill the big shoes she left. So those looking to rent a place that is safe with mostly respectful, kind neighbors this is it. In my little area it really feels like the neighbors are true neighbors. We all look out for each other. This is a good place to live until you find your forever home.

This place has the rudest leasing office staff I’ve ever encountered. My wife walked in with our autistic daughter earlier today to use the printer and Angela thought it would be welcoming to huff and stare at my daughter for vocally stimming. In general this place needs to do better.
