My Fiancé & I’ve been living here for about a month now and we absolutely love living here! It has been a great experience so far. Ashley is amazing and has been so kind to me, which really makes this community feel like home. She always makes sure my packages are put away in the package room, which I really appreciate, and she keeps everything organized and running smoothly. The apartments themselves are beautiful, and the community is very peaceful and not noisy at all. We look forward to many more years in this community :)
Edit: The fire alarm has once again gone off for what is the second time this month alone. A major inconvenience for those with pets and children and who are working from home. When will this issue be fixed? Original review: I’ve lived here for a couple of months now and while the units look like the photos and the complex itself is nice, there are definitely some ongoing misses. The biggest issue is the amount of dog waste around the property — and I mean everywhere. While management does send the occasional reminder email asking residents to clean up after their pets, it’s clearly not working. I genuinely feel bad for the maintenance team because it’s obvious they try their best, but they should not be responsible for ensuring pet owners clean up after their own animals. It’s gotten to
I recently toured The Louis Apartments and had an excellent experience from start to finish. The property itself is beautiful, clean, and well cared for, and it really gave off a welcoming, community-focused vibe. Franny and Ava in the office were fantastic—friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely excited to show me around and answer all of my questions. They made the entire visit feel easy and pressure-free, which I really appreciated. I also had the chance to interact with Mike from maintenance, and it was clear he takes a lot of pride in keeping the property in great shape. Based on my visit, it’s easy to see that the team at The Louis Apartments truly cares about the residents and the quality of the community. This property is definitely at the top of my list!
The Louis "LUXURY" apartments are an amazing place to live if you want the experience of living in a 3rd world country in Louisville. Do you want to take a shower? Drink water? Goto the bathroom? TOO BAD you wont be able to for 20+ hours at a time. The water has been shut off on multiple occasions and the office will only make excuses instead of owning up to how bad the apartment is and that it is their fault. And will not give you anything in return except a bottle of water or two. If you are lucky enough to be able to take a shower, be weary that a random fire alarm might go off even though absolutely nothing is happening. Happens at least once a month. You are forced to pay a trash fee every month, which leads to trash being left all over the floor and only picked up 4ish times a wee
Here’s a polished, clear, and concise two-star review version of your message. It keeps your experience honest and firm, but still readable and professional: ⸻ ⭐️⭐️ Two-Star Review My experience at The Louis Apartments has been disappointing from the start. When I first applied, the staff denied my income and refused to return my $300 admin fee, going back and forth with me over bank statements. That was the first red flag. After all of that, they suddenly decided I was “approved”—which felt like a way to avoid issuing the refund. Before move-in, we scheduled a time to view the apartment. Two days prior, the staff rescheduled the walkthrough to the actual move-in day. When I arrived—with movers lined up and time taken off work—the apartment wasn’t even ready. Instead of taking accounta
