The Leasing Spot

After working with Debra and the team at the Leasing Spot this past year, I highly recommend checking them out if you’re looking for a lease. They do a fantastic job managing a wide variety of properties all over the area. Each property is unique, and I highly recommend touring multiple if you have the opportunity. Unlike an apartment complex, if you’ve seen one you have certainly not seen them all! The unit I lease is nice, but of course not everything is perfect. Perfection is an unreasonable expectation. This review is five stars because TLS’s team is always quick to respond to whatever it is I need. My work orders (which are infrequent though a normal part of living in a rental) are always answered the same day, or as soon as feasible if submitted after hours. I don’t expect that to c

Was supposed to be fully renovated by the time of move in got pushed back twice. Pictures below are what i walked into when i got the keys. It’s been a month and i STILL haven’t gotten a timeline to when the issues remaining are going to be fixed. Horrible care for their tenants. Two months later still haven't fixed the issues in the apartment, still have a roach problem. Manager gives attitude and even calls us liars even though we have proof. They also prioritized a vacant unit and re modeled it completely while continuously saying they didn't have any vendors to do the repairs in our unity that has not even been started since move in day.

BEWARE!!!!!! This organization is unethical and dishonest. This is the first time to ever write a review because I usually don't waste my time. My son and his room mate submitted an application and Leasing Spot rep. Jacob Keddy assured me that he would hold the unit. I offered to give a deposit at which Jacob said "that is not necessary. You are good." He also assured me that if any issue arose, that he would make me aware. I received an e-mail 2 days later at 5pm (after hours) stating that they leased the unit to someone else. My realtor looked up the information and discovered that they had done this at 2:04 the previous day. Please stay away from leasing spot if you are broke college student like me. When I moved out, they took $1,138 from my initial 1500 security deposit plus $400 pet deposit. They said $400 of it was for cleaning, even though we hired pros to clean. We were confused because we got charged for cleaning even when we tried to make the place really clean. They also charged $350 for painting, but we don't understand why they had to paint since we didn't stay there for long. On top of that, they added $45 for changing an air filter, $150 for taking care of the lawn, $150 for a light bulb, and $123.80 for pest control. It's frustrating! They even charged $35 for a check, but I didn't get a second check. This whole situation is confusing, and it feels like they charged us way too much.
