The Landmark South

I’ve held off on writing this review for months, hoping things would improve, but the management at Landmark South has been consistently awful. They made our move from one apartment to another unnecessarily difficult and stressful. They wouldn’t allow us to use the main elevator closest to our unit, forcing us to move heavy furniture across two buildings. While we were clearly struggling and doing our best, instead of offering any help or flexibility, the building security threatened to call the cops on us because the move was “taking too long.” Completely unprofessional. This attitude is not a one-off. Management is almost always in a bad mood and treats residents like an inconvenience. This place sucks, avoid at all costs! By far one of the worst places I’ve ever lived. We rented a one bedroom apartment that went for around $2,500 a month. There’s no storage space in the apartment, so you’ll have to rent that separately. We were super excited to move in, but we got deflated quickly. People are LOUD, so if you’re looking for a quiet place to come home to and relax after work, this is not the place. There was a party one night till 2 am (on a Friday night by the way) and I had to go to work the next day, early in the morning. Had to call the cops three times until they stopped. There’s dogs EVERYWHERE, and I’m talking about big dogs. If you’re not a dog lover, you’ll feel super uncomfortable. The whole vibe is ghetto: noise, trash, rudeness and sketchy people everywhere. T

Maria Olivares is absolutely the BEST! She is professional, friendly, and with a lot of knowledge about customer service. She knows everything and was very helpful assisting me! I am super glad and grateful!! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!!! I highly recommend landmark south you will be waking distance from food, gym, supermarket, bank it’s amazing! I cannot thank Claudia at The Landmark South enough for her incredible help during my father’s recent move. I live in Virginia and was unable to be in Doral Florida to help him in person, which was a huge source of anxiety for our family. Claudia went above and beyond her job description to ensure he was settled and comfortable. She handled the entire process with such patience and professionalism. If you are looking for a place where the staff truly cares about the residents, this is it. Thank you, Claudia, for looking out for my dad!

I honestly cannot wait to move out of this complex. It has become such an unpleasant place to live. Residents are careless with their dogs — there’s pee everywhere, the hallways constantly smell bad, and trash is often left lying around. The access doors rarely work, and noise is a constant issue with people blasting loud music at all hours. It also seems like management has lowered their rental standards lately — it feels like they let anyone move in without proper screening. There’s no reliable way to reach the leasing office by phone, and maintenance requests go unattended for days unless I physically go there in person. I work in property management myself, and it’s very clear that the current system here is not working. Ownership really needs to take a hard look at what’s happening
