I lived in this building for a while, and although the apartment itself had potential, the overall management experience was consistently frustrating. Maintenance issues were a recurring theme. The refrigerator situation was especially stressful — it took multiple attempts and follow-ups just to get a functioning appliance, and communication throughout the process was unclear and inconsistent. Even simple requests felt like a battle, and I often had to chase down updates instead of receiving proactive communication. Another major issue was how administrative and billing matters were handled. There was very little transparency, and mistakes were made more than once without clear explanations. I rent with The Jay Group at 276 Nostrand. The staff is incredibly responsive and fair and transparent with fees. The building condition is excellent - trash is removed timely, the facilities (gym & roof deck) are awesome amenities given the rent amount, and I never worry about a package getting stolen. Highly recommend living in this building and/or renting with The Jay Group.

I have rented jay group apartment in Brooklyn, NY- the management were very supportive and responsive and ensure carried out prompt maintenance work whenever tenants submit a request. The rent amount were comparatively affordable and most importantly management is alway willing to provide support to tenants. Although, I did have a great experience during my tenancy, but I will encourage the management to ensure continuing renovation of their property to maintain a competitive market standard.

Inconsistent hot water. Have to run water for over 5 mins to get hot.We have been harassed by the building Manager “Moshe Berger” to take down our reviews but obviously we refused. He called us multiple times late at night around 10pm being rude and disrespectful. I reached out for assistance I needed regarding the lease and he refused to help. Jay Group as a whole is unprofessional. The security and cleaning staff on the other hand are all respectful, kind and helpful. But the manager is actually the worst. Also tenants will leave their clothes in the dryer for HOURS or even overnight in the laundry room. Sunrose Tower building is overrated. Management and the Super doesn’t work on weekends apparently but Moshe will gladly be here on a weekend to give tours.

I've given this company many chances to redeem themselves and after a call in which I was bullied into changing my last review I have to say that there communication is appalling. While living here I dealt with a water issue that lasted several months. Whenever I ran my bath water it came out brown as you'll notice in the attached photos. I emailed the management offices numerous times; they either ignored me or said they would send someone out and didn't. After another issue in which the toilet and water stopped running all together for a week I got so fed up I went down to the office to talk in person. I admit at that moment I was extremely frustrated and confused as to how I paid so much money but couldn't get proper running water. They threatened to call the cops on me because I deman
