The Ivy | University City

I’ve really enjoyed living here and honestly don’t understand why there are so few reviews, or why the existing ones are negative. I have lived at the Ivy for a little over a year-and-a-half, and my experience has been nothing but positive. Management has been great from day one. The property manager and assistant manager, Blake and Brett, are very down-to-earth and easy to reach by phone, email, or text. Maintenance and the facilities team have also been excellent. The staff is polite, professional, and quick to fix any issues that come up. Communication overall is a big strong point; they always give plenty of advance notice if they need to enter the apartment, which is rare, and they’re very transparent about any building updates or issues. No called no showed by leasing staff for a tour after receiving 2 confirmations from their team in the week prior. Waited 15min outside in the rain. I called twice and emailed to no response. Had to ring them on the intercom. After reminding them of the appointment they stated they could not attend. I was buzzed in without any checks or being accompanied by a staff given free roam of the building. Terrible security. Would not recommend to anyone.

When it comes to small maintenance requests it’s decent. But management is terrible at communication and really have a “whatever we don’t care attitude”. Always had to send multiple emails to get one response. Dumpsters always piled up which was absolutely unacceptable.

do not live here they will scam you out of your security despot. we had document evidence of our move out date, which they "lost" because they are completely inept. all students, especially international students, do yourself a favor and live somewhere else. the ivy will steal you money. we plan to press charges.
