The Hooper

Marc Dunbar was super pleasant today during a super last minute tour. My sister was at work and was highly interested so i went to tour for her. I didn’t have an appointment so to me it felt like he was going above and beyond, he doesn’t even do the tours, him making the time to do that for us was highly appreciated and a good first impression to my sisters new possible home!

I just moved out after 2 years at The Hooper. I was nothing but satisfied with the quality, experience, and amenities of my apartment. I always had hot water, proper working equipment, updates on maintenance within the building. The gym is simple and modern for working out, the sky lounge is great to lookout at the city, and the access to places around was perfect. I enjoyed the management through Cornerstone and I would definitely recommend a move into these apartments if you’re looking for something simple, modern, and within a great, upcoming area.

Renting from here now truly disgusting place. Elevators have profanity carved into them, and dog poop in the lobby wasn’t cleaned for almost a week. THIS IS A UNSAFE ENVIRONMENT I had a vehicle broken into and destroyed in a secure garage that costs $160/month. DISGUSTING building from a terrible company that could care less, they also do not inform residents of crimes committed or break ins occurring at the building. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!

I signed a 14month lease & 6m in Im happy to call The Hooper home. I lived in way worse less communicative buildings. This building doesnt deserve a 2.2 star rating (From my experience) it definitely should be a 3.8. A maintenance team member, her name is Summer, she is always smiling & at the right place at the right time. (This review will be updated at the end of my lease)

If you need to use the communal laundry machines, I wouldn't recommend living here. The dryers don't work properly and you will need to run them multiple times, costing you $6 to wash and dry your clothes and take over 2 hours. Cornerstone blames it on the third-party vendor, but it's been like this for months. I shouldn't have to go to a laundromat for the price of rent here. Edit: Putting this down to 1 star. Edit 2: After multiple maintenance requests, CSC refuses to fix their machines. After multiple emails with Cornerstone Management, nothing is being done. None of the dryers work and nothing is being done to fix it. Over 6 months of this. Don't live here.
