The Heights at McArthur Park

The apartment looked great during the tour — high ceilings, a spacious layout, and a modern feel. Unfortunately, living here was a completely different experience, and it genuinely affected my day-to-day life. Safety was my biggest concern. During my time here, my car and several neighbors’ cars were broken into, and one vehicle was stolen. Police were frequently on the property. I personally witnessed an incident where several teens were detained by police behind my building while carrying what appeared to be rifle-style weapons. I have footage of the police response for my own documentation. Even though this is advertised as a gated community, the gate was often open, and even when closed, people who didn’t live here could easily walk in. Pest issues were constant. Before fully moving

I would like to take a moment to recognize the maintenance staff and office team. Maintenance has been amazing and Freddy has been outstanding in his role. He is professional, responsive, and truly attentive to residents’ concerns. Whenever there has been an issue, he takes the time to listen, follow up, and ensure it is handled properly. His communication is clear, respectful, and reassuring, which makes a big difference. The maintenance staff works hard, and the office team is always courteous and helpful, but Freddy’s leadership and dedication truly stand out. It is evident that he takes pride in making sure the property is well managed and that residents feel heard and supported. I genuinely appreciate his commitment and the positive impact he has on the community.

As a visitor to the property, I wanted to take a moment to recognize the maintenance staff and especially Manager Freddy. Even as a guest, I could clearly see the level of care and professionalism shown throughout the community. The maintenance team appears hardworking and attentive, and the property is well kept. Freddy truly stands out for his leadership, professionalism, and the way he carries himself. He is respectful, approachable, and clearly committed to making sure things run smoothly. It’s always refreshing to see management that takes pride in their property and supports their team the way Freddy does. His dedication does not go unnoticed.

Not necessarily a post for the apartment itself but I’d like to personally recognize the hard work and extreme efforts of Freddy. He is part of the maintenance team at this location. Every concern or problem we have had, he has responded immediately and provided us with quality service. He is kind, considerate, and his service is consistent, reliable, and professional. He has always reassured us when it comes to our apartment and the services he can provide. We have a 10 month old and with that, sometimes having maintenance required issues can be extra hard when trying to keep a newly walking and curious child out of things. I spent than more than a year here and left it due to moving out of the state. Freddy is the best thing about this place he has a wonderful team and he js always helpful and reliable. He also helped me personally in different things related to my car while I was new to living in the USA. Thank you for all your wonderful help and effort. This place is made good because of you!
