Customer Reviews
I’m not usually the type to write reviews, but The Harris made it impossible not to share my experience. I had just moved out of a residential building in Back Bay, and I only wish I had made the move sooner. This building is truly on another level. perfect for anyone who values elegance, world-class amenities, genuine hospitality, and five-star service. The Harris team is always incredibly kind and welcoming, and the front desk staff are the best I’ve ever encountered. A special thanks to Sylvana for finalizing my lease so quickly and making the entire process seamless.
I’ve lived in many luxury apartments in Boston and Cambridge, and The Harris stands out as the most luxurious by far. The amenities are unparalleled, from a top-of-the-line gym, Equinox-affiliated yoga, and classes within the building, to the stunning amenity space with beautiful, classy decor and upscale finishes. The indoor heated pool and sauna add to the luxury. What truly sets The Harris apart is the incredible management team—professional, well-mannered, and responsive, ensuring all my needs are promptly addressed. Their exceptional service rivals that of five-star luxury hotels, making my stay delightful. Highly recommend this community for its outstanding living experience, thanks to the dedicated team. I’m looking forward to staying within the Related community based on this excel
“It Wasn’t About the Rules—It Was About Our Skin” It was a hot summer day at 345 Harrison Ave in Boston. The pool was packed kids laughing, water splashing, Caucasian families lounging under the sun. I went with my family to my friend’s complex, excited to relax, cool off, and enjoy the day like everyone else. Not even 10 minutes in, I noticed the lifeguard watching us. Not just glancing watching. Every move we made, every step we took in the water, her eyes followed. We watched her let a white father and son walk right in no wristbands. Other white families, some with more than four people, were clearly there without wristbands too. No one said a word to them. Then she came over to us. She told my friend she wasn’t allowed to bring more than two guests. That all of us needed wristband
This apartment building is nice and new but will squeeze every last dollar from you that they can, so you need to be very careful. The concierge team and maintenance staff (especially Manuel) are WONDERFUL but the corporate parent company (Related) just wants to scam you. I do not recommend renting here unless you love throwing away money. I recommend finding an Equity Residential property instead. Some examples of missteps during our time here: - Charged us $150 in our first week here for using the common roof deck with 6 guests for a couple of hours when no one else was using the roof (we did not know that if you had 6+ people, you needed to pay $150 to reserve roof rights) - Tried to charge us for parking after we discontinued our parking - Shut off our garage access a couple weeks ear
Our experience with the building management was EXTREMELY disappointing. Despite living there for nearly two years, the last six months were marred by a persistent MARIJUANA odor from a neighboring unit, in a supposedly smoke-free building. Although the concierge team, especially Manuel, Dilma, and Jorge, were amazing and tried to assist, the overall management did nothing to address the issue. Upon deciding to vacate due to the unresolved problem and health risk, communication became sparse, and they eventually sent a lawyer to enforce an early termination penalty. It's truly unbelievable to be treated so poorly. Save your money and look elsewhere for a better living experience.
