Unacceptable Billing Practices and Zero Accountability My son lived at The Hardison for three years while attending the University. Overall, his experience was fine—aside from a persistent hallway odor, which we tolerated. He graduated in May and moved out, leaving the apartment in perfect condition. His lease ran through August, and we paid rent accordingly. However, after his move-out, The Hardison debited my account again for September rent, and then charged an additional $2700 in October—with no explanation. I immediately contacted the rental office. They reviewed their system and admitted they couldn’t explain the charges, asking me to send screenshots from my bank account. I did so the same day. Since then, I’ve called and emailed daily for updates. No one has responded. No follow-u
I lived here for almost three years, so trust that my review is pretty accurate. THE PROS: - Really good appliances, I loved the washer and dryer. - My balcony had great views and the building is close to lots of great places you can walk (Citycreek etc). - Maintenance arrives on time and fixes issues quickly. - As a woman living alone, I felt relatively safe in my unit. Now let’s get to THE CONS: - It’s expensive for what you get and there are lots of added on fees. The price listed is not what you will pay. - I almost got evicted due to my dog, with no actual proof that she was making any sound or causing a disturbance. I had to rehome her to avoid this, so be cautious moving in with pets. - There is always trash in the hallways and filled in the parking garage. There will always be a
I have lived here for about 2 years now and will say you probably can find a nicer place for cheaper. It was a smooth transition when moving here from Arizona and the location of this complex is great. The amenities are average to below average. I do think the cost is quite expensive for not having that many amenities. The real downfall of this place is lack of security and not feeling like management cares. I have had two incidents where my car was broken into and personal items were stolen. The most recent incident involved 5 cars that were vandalized and had items stolen. It really stinks when management says they’ll just look at cameras and let the police handle the situation. It would a lot more reassuring if management were to either make a claim for the $1000+ items that were taken
I've lived here for almost 3 years now, and many other similar complexes in the SLC area for going on 10 years. I genuinely think that the management here is more on top of building maintenance and communication than any of the other buildings I've lived in. Devon is a good guy and the front desk people are nice. Amenities are fine.. There are definitely much better amenities elsewhere - read the other reviews if you care to hear more about them; but the Hardison checks (almost) all the boxes that really matter to me. Price, location, management, modern units.. The reason for 2 stars and the reason I'm reviewing today is because of the abysmal security. My vehicle has been broken into 4 times in the last year. Thieves have tried to pry my tailgate open and left it bent and damaged. Break
