The Guthrie North Gulch

If you love being woken up by your neighbor every day at 5:00 AM, this is the perfect place for you to live! However, if you don't like that, don't expect anyone on staff here to do anything about it except send an email. Apparently, a neighbor being so loud during the day that coworkers have trouble hearing me speak (less than a foot away from the microphone) during a WFH meeting is completely normal and to be expected in a building like this. But don't worry... they'll send an email!

Toured the facility and was very impressed! The dedication to creation zones for relaxation and play were amazing. The view on the top floor outstanding. Love Love the amenities. The walkablitly to surrounding eateries and shopping definitely made an impression on us. Then the available units! We toured the 3 bedroom floor plan and the layout was great plenty of room. The kitchen was top tier.

From first site walk through until we got our keys it's been a wonderful experience. I highly recommend to anyone who wants to reside in downtown Music City to take a look at The Guthrie and join us in the Gulch.

My fiancé and I lived at the Guthrie for a little over 2 years Pros: -great location close to freeway, gulch, and downtown -decent amenities -walking distance to Publix -typically there is street parking for guest to visit Cons: -thin walls as we heard upstairs and nearby neighbors often -elevators are painfully slow -doors around perimeter of building not closing all the way -garage was broken into a few months ago and residents weren’t notified via email -a lot of somewhat unnecessary construction/rennovation around building -6th floor sky lounge under construction and closed for over a year -maintenance staff coming in without notice (no text/call when we left entry notes). We’ve lived here for just three months, and it has been an absolute nightmare from day one. Here’s what we’ve dealt with — and this is just scratching the surface: • Ant infestation that took forever to be addressed • An entire month with no air conditioning — during the summer • No hot water, repeatedly • Plant pests throughout the unit • Maintenance workers who barge in without warning or permission • A front desk staff that lies, deflects, and refuses to give you contact info for anyone who can actually help It honestly feels like no one here knows what they’re doing — or worse, they just don’t care. Every time we’ve begged for help, we’ve been met with eye rolls
