The Grove at Schaumburg Apartments

I don't recommend living here. Rent is way to high for the quality of life here. I had a 14month lease, and regretted it. They do raffles and dangle prizes for tenants that leave a 5 star review so don't trust those. The units themselves received a paintjob and now they're considered great quality. The walls and floors are super thin, so you can hear all your neighbors, plus it's filled with families that treat the entire building as their own personal home. Kids running and shouting thru the halls. Don't bother filing a complaint with the leasing office, as they don't actually care. 75% of the time you can't actually reach anyone by phone, and if you do actually get someone the most they do is send out an email that no one reads, and then nothing actually changes.

This is my first time living in an apartment at the age of 57 with my two Pups. The lifestyle is VERY different from a House and Townhouse...especially being disabled. I'm so Thankful for The Grove being my Choice to make Our New HOME (thanks to My Seestor for showing me the option) Anthony, Jazlee and Kassandra in the Office are AMAZING!!! The Maintenance staff are super nice and do a great job at quickly getting things taken care of. The Landscapers do a great job keeping the grounds looking beautiful. This place is a hell hole. I am reviewing after living there for 1 year. I don’t usually review a place before I spend my full time there. If you think you will save money here as the basic rent looks cheaper than most of other communities you are being tricked. As that’s what happened to me. My basic rent was $1,587. How there system works is they will keep you happy in the first 2 months. No extra charges. After two months I was shocked when I saw the bill. There are too many bills added such as sub metered electricity, water is added twice for different amounts and the bill used to be $1,750+. I just want to give a huge shoutout to Michael in maintenance for being absolutely amazing! I lost my nose ring down the drain. He went above and beyond to help me out and somehow found it! I’m so grateful for his kindness, and effort. It’s rare to find someone who actually cares that much, and he really made my day. Thank you, Michael!

Nice area friendly environment as well as the processes and getting information. Andy help alot and explained step by step and made sure to explain everything to the T highly recommend to check this place out for your new home.
