The Grove at Deerwood Apartments

We have not had hot water in the laundry facility for over 6 months. I have told them nicely and calmly over and over again and no one cares. We have been forced to wash our clothes, underwear, sheets, blankets etc in only cold water without any type of discount while we wait until they fix it. If we want to wash with hot water, we have to travel off property to a local Laundromat. I have told several managers and several staff members about this since the summer and it has still not been fixed

What can be said about The Grove at Deerwood? Well, it's definitely more than just an apartment complex. It is an outstanding and safe community whether you're single or have kids. You will not find a better property manager, Tory and both Nastascia and Debbie in the leasing office, who go far and beyond for their tenants and who are all treated fairly and like family. The same applies to every one of the maintenance staff, who are all professional, kind and highly knowledgeable. More importantly, you can trust them in your home when you're not there. With the housing market issues right now, so many people are trying to find rentals that maintain a clean and lovely property with safety and a great staff. Give The Grove at Deerwood a try, and you will not be sorry!!

Ms. Tory is awesome she takes good care of her tenets and is very knowledgeable with sharing information. She is also very personable and understanding. Communication is key and she exceeds this expectation every time.

We've been here for a few years now, and we stay because it's very affordable for the area/convenience (I've paid about $1800 for a 2/2 since the beginning of 2023, and they've had the good sense not to jack up our rent year-to-year.) That said, you will have to tolerate a lot of noise and exercise your patience muscles when dealing with the staff. You get the sense that there isn't great communication between the owners, property manager, and actual on-site staff- I've never once had an issue resolved with a single work order, it will always be at least 3. The staff is kind and tries their best though- I only wish the owners would put in more effort to support their staff and residents.

Tory and Cresta are always so helpful. They do a great job of keeping the landscaping nice.
