The Galaxy Apartments

We had such a wonderful experience working with Ayana and Ivonne at Galaxy Apartments! Moving from Texas was a big transition for us, and they made the whole process feel so much easier than we expected. From the very beginning, they were kind, patient, and truly understanding of our situation. Since we were coming from out of state, we had a lot of questions — and they never made us feel like we were asking too much. They answered everything quickly and clearly, and kept us in the loop the whole time. It wasn't necessarily a bad experience, but the issue didn't get resolved. When the maintenance man arrived, the drain was working, but five minutes after he left the water started bubbling up again. I called him to let him know, and recoded a video to show him. The maintenance man said he'll be back later, or tomorrow. He didn't show. The kitchen sink is still bubbling water. I put in a new ticket yesterday, and as of yet no one showed up to fix the drain.

My partner and I were desperately trying to find a place this past spring, and when we found the Galaxy we knew it was the perfect fit for us. We went with the income-based housing, and when we were anxiously waiting to get our final approvals back, Danielle did a fantastic job in advocating for us and ensuring that we could get a place. Not only did she make sure to let us know when a unit was available (two bedrooms are hot commodities) but she was quick with her responses and was genuine in her care. We are very happy with the Galaxy and very happy that Danielle was able to get the promotion she deserves!

My vehicle, along with several others, was broken into over the weekend. I am unsure where the four-star review is coming from, as my overall concern is with the location. The property sits directly across from a poorly maintained motel that frequently has individuals loitering outside, which creates an environment that feels unsafe.
