The Gael Apartments

The Gael is a well kept and quiet community. The location is excellent, and the grounds are well maintained. The private gate to central market and dog run are great features. The Gym facilities are some of the nicest I've seen in an apartment complex.

I have yet to live here, so this is not a review about the apartment quality itself. However, after my experience with getting a lease signed this past month, I want to leave a review here to shout out the leasing agent Kate who helped me throughout the entire process! She was thorough, responsive, and (I feel) went above and beyond what is expected of her in her role. Her warmth has given me confidence about my choice to live at The Gael, and I can only hope that the rest of the staff/the quality of the apartments lives up to the high expectations that Kate has set for me. Get her a raise!! :D

I love living here & just renewed my lease for a second year. Great location, very safe, and super quiet. Neighbors are respectful and I rarely hear anyone. Management team have always been really helpful and quick to fix issues. Earlier this summer, my air conditioner went out from a fuse w/ Hurricane Beryl at the end of the day on Friday, and they made sure the issue was resolved (even though it was past office hours).

BEWARE!!! What a shame to continue to see complacency and discrimination in 2022. There are too many better options in the area. Please save yourself the heartache of the Essex and Gael' mismanagement of the property.

Mold! Whenever my husband and I looked at the apartment and signed the lease we had absolutely no idea there was a water leak & mold growing for a long time. The mold & mildew smell has and is awful. I had fungal sinus surgery last year and the surgeon cut out everything he could and got all the fungus! However, after living in this old, nasty, unkept apartment complex with mold hidden in the walls I've lost my patience completely. The kitchen sink is falling off. All items and more than just these two have been reported many times. Maintenance was well aware of the bathroom door that will NOT shut because it's warped and won't shut, so no privacy for us or guests. So many maintenance items I would stay away from The Gael. I'm so disappointed because we sold our home in Katy TX last year a
