The Flats at Laurel & Pine

I just moved into The Flats and it is awesome. I downsized into a one bedroom and I love the size, it fits me and my Great Pyrenees perfectly. I worked with Annicka to find the right size, she was excellent and super friendly. She toured me around the whole complex and showed me several apartments. She told me that they emphasize a community environment and will have events all year for residents to attend. Moving in went very smoothly, Annicka and Nicki provided a cart for me to use and the elevator was plenty big to fit all my furniture. Things I really enjoy are how clean the complex is, how quiet it is and the size of my balcony. I am very excited for the year to come.

These apartments are fantastic, and I couldn't be happier so far with The Flats at L&P! Nikki, the main leasing agent I worked with, was able to get my application processed and my move-in date scheduled incredibly quickly - I have nothing but good things to say about her and the rest of the management here. They have been so kind and professional, making the process easy. From looking at other reviews, it seems that they're a newer management team as well, so I'm so glad I went with this apt place! Very grateful and happy with this beautiful complex in Nashville! Can't recommend it enough!

Just moved out after 2 years here and I will say overall it was a pleasant experience! We have seen multiple property managers and office staff and I will say the current team of Kaitlyn and Teagan are leaps and bounds better than any prior. I feel like the cleanliness of the breezeways and overall property have improved under their management. Our unit itself was gorgeous with a giant wraparound porch and amazing natural light and beautiful sunsets. Overall the price seemed extremely fair for the area and the size of the unit, especially compared to other complexes here in Nashville. Honestly our main complaint is the train, but that unfortunately is just due to the location. If you are in an externally facing unit be aware it is LOUD. All day and all night. I’ve been a long-term resident at Flats at Laurel and Pine, and I have to say, things have never felt better. I’m really looking forward to the leadership of the new manager, Annicka. She took the time to speak with me personally, and I could immediately tell she genuinely cares. I felt heard and seen — which is incredibly rare to experience from a manager. I absolutely love my apartment, and lately everything I’ve needed has been taken care of quickly, which makes me so happy. The property is clean, comfortable, and enjoyable again. There’s something about the new management team that brings a fresh, positive energy back to the community. I’m excited to renew my lease when the time comes!

I lived at this property for over two years and left my unit clean and in good condition, with video proof at move-out. Despite this, management attempted to charge me for carpet replacement, painting, and deep cleaning without providing any evidence to justify the fees. During my tenancy, they also improperly charged pet rent for a registered service animal and repeatedly ignored emails requesting correction. The management was consistently unresponsive and unprofessional, and I ultimately moved out due to ongoing issues. I would strongly encourage future tenants to document everything and proceed with caution when dealing with this property.
