Unprofessional and unorganized business. I had to chase them down for everything related to my rental property to the point that I finally asked myself WHY AM I PAYING THEM?? It’s been over 4 months since I stopped working with them and I still have not received my tenant’s deposits and other fees. When I try to follow up I get no response from Melvin or his staff. At this point, I believe he intends to ignore me until I forget, but I will post reviews every day if I have to. The bottom line is you cannot be in business and treat customers without the dignity and respect that they deserve. Do not trust this man with your property. His businesses practices are extremely shady.

I feel as though I had to write this review after checking for Melvin Yates. He helped me to sell my parent's house about 8 years ago and I was searching for his services on a new endeavor. My post is that Mr. Yates was a true professional that helped me sell my parent's house for a fair price when others couldn't get offers. I wish him much success and I will contact him for services in the future.

He's not friendly, he's a realtor and a politician who makes promises he can't keep. He represented a homeowner in a rental that I was interested in. He fabricated the condition of this old house. After moving in I found mold in many areas of the house, especially the "sun room". The house made me sick, when I reached out to him, he claimed that didn't exists when I signed the lease. How can he represent his clients or a person of the community with this type of business practice. He did not and wasn't interested in resolving the issue. I will never get property he represents nor will I vote for him.

A year ago this time another Realtor company told me I would never be a home owner! When I spoke with Melvin Yates at Exit Flagship Realty he told me to come right in and my team will help get you your house. He never lied!!!! One of his agents Corey Young met with me and became my Realtor. I said Corey my scores are not high enough yet. Corey connected me with one of his Lenders, who worked with me and in a few short months, I received my approval letter! Corey Young took me out to several houses until I found the house of my dreams. My fiance' and I closed on our house on Friday, September 2nd! Melvin Yates and his team of Realtors are everything! They are doing big things for the African American Community! They made our dreams come true! Thank you Melvin for treating me with such digni

I wish I could put zero stars because that's how many they deserve. I found a listing for a rental property that I wanted to view since there were no photos of the interior. I called the listing agent Crystal Alston, it rang to her voicemail which was generic and I wasn't even sure it was her. I called the agency several times and the secretary was trying to be helpful but she can only work with what she has. After an email to Crystal still didn't get any contact I wanted to speak to another agent. (Little did I know Crystal OWNS the property I wanted to rent). The agency was more than happy to email me solicitation but wouldn't respond to me personally. I finally got in touch and set an appointment for today at noon. I get there and no one shows up, I text and call Crystal. She finally te
