The Fern 55+ Apartments

I have been trying to help my mom lease an apartment here. It is impossible to get ahold of anyone in the leasing office. We had to physically visit the facility to get a question answered the day after we applied because nobody would call us back. We submitted at application 10 days ago. They requested additional details 2 days ago and haven't worked on the application since. We've called several times looking for an update with no return calls.

I have recently moved into The Fern Senior Living - - It offers almost everything you could want at a senior apartment. Terrence and the staff keep the grounds and apartment building clean and beautiful for us to enjoy !!! The tenants are a great group of people - - easy to meet and talk with - - easy to make friends here. Terrence is a great manager - he has an open door policy as much as possible. He is excellent at his job - - and cares about everyone here. I am very happy to have moved int The Fern !! Barb M

To the Corporate office of the Fern Apartments (Real Estate Equities) My survey that I submitted today should not be in any way a negative Reflection on Mr. Terrence Walker or Sheena, The Management Staff here at the Fern. They have been the greatest professional management team that I have met. I just want to make this correction to make sure that this does not affect any relations here at the Fern. They are Both Great People and I really appreciate what they have done for me. Professionally they are the best that I have met. My apology if this was taken the wrong way. Please accept this as my apology to Mr. Terrence Walker, Sheena and Real Estate Equities. You are a Great Team!

No one calls back from the Management office. I've called for 3 days. Left numerous messages and have yet to get a call back. Inquiring about leasing but forget it if no calls back. Not a Management that I want. Got a response from the Management that they would reach out as soon as possible. Never heard from them. Liars.

I wish I could say something positive about the Fern, but my experience has not been good. The first time they denied me, due to income not enough. The second time they denied me I made too much money. Please future applicants don’t fall for their 2 months free rent. I applied on 3/18, & was told to receive 2 months free I would have to be approved by 3/23, even though website said if you are approved by 3/31. I had legal services go over everything & why they can’t say what their doing is illegal they did say they’re practicing unethical lines & said I should have the state look into their practices.
