The Elms

It’s interesting that most of the people giving this place 4–5 stars don’t even live in the building. For an honest perspective, check out Vincent Iacobucci’s review—it’s spot on. And let’s not forget, despite the building resembling a giant candy corn, it’s been dealing with a mice problem for over two years

Elderly residences. Clean and secure. Offers laundromat for pay and large hall for activities. Nothing luxurious, just the essentials.

Apartments are small, kitchen, poor upkeep kitchen appliances are the cheapest money can buy and elevators sometimes out of order for weeks or months at a time. Garbage is left outside of the laundry room. Except for the first floor hall, which is cool the upper floor are hot and unkempt This is a building that has many seniors living here. I only gave it one star because I couldn't post this without giving one. The Elms is no longer a senior building, it is now section 8 housing allowing only the lowest of Tenants an apartment. The Elms is now the talk of the Town, BUT not in a good way.
