The Elms at Kendall Ridge

Mr. Jimenez is extremely kind and caring person, but the property owners, legend Management is your typical greedy landlord. The price of the units continue to rise, despite no upgrades to any of the appliances in the units. I have lived in a two bedroom and a one bedroom, their one bedroom for sure smelled musty and for sure had mold issues. The prices have become unaffordable, there are more affordable places to live right up the street, that have similar appliance issues and problems of course, but at least their prices are better. Overall, despite Mr. Jimenez's kindness, I would recommend looking elsewhere for housing, unless of course, you like paying high prices, for rodent, roach, and mold infestations.

I've lived at Kendall Ridge for a little over 5 years now and I love it. The community is great. The trails around the community are a perfect way to keep my family active. They even have playgrounds along the trails. The location is convenient to many things grocery stores, the mall, and so many food options. Kosal, the property manager, has always been helpful and great to talk to with. The leasing office staff has just as warm and welcoming when I come to the office or they see me out and about. Maintenance here is amazing. They are very fast at handling any issues that have come up in my apartment and communicate well when something may take a bit longer. Do not move here if you want an apartment that values safety and proper communication. After I moved in, I noticed that the fire extinguisher in the hallway on my floor had a tag on it that said “Failed – August 2020.” I moved into my apartment in May 2021 and let the leasing office know about the extinguisher that same month. Months went by and the sticker was still on it, so I told them again and put in a service request to let maintenance know as well. Still nothing was done so I told the leasing office again and the extinguisher was finally replaced in June 2022, almost 2 years after it was marked as failed and over a year after I told them it needed to be replaced. They also took the failed extinguisher out and didn’t put in a new one until the next day. I have attached photo evidence

My boyfriend and I came to this apartment complex without an appointment after being referred by another Elms property. Even with no prior notice, Jean Carlos Jimenez welcomed us warmly and took the time to answer all of our questions. He made the tour process smooth and comfortable, and from that moment on, he’s been incredibly helpful and supportive through every step of our move-in and beyond. On the first day we moved in, my license plate was stolen from my car while it was parked in the apartment lot—not near the entrance, but deeper into the complex. It was a stressful experience. The police took over an hour to respond, so we ended up going to the station to file a report ourselves. I had a smooth transition to Kendell Ridge. Jean Carlos and Sophia were incredibly helpful and kind throughout the entire process. I experienced a few maintenance issues after moving in, but they were resolved very quickly. I've really enjoyed living here since then. The area is quiet and feels safe.
