The Edmund

We really love living here! It’s peaceful and private, and everything is always so clean thanks to the amazing cleaning team. Maintenance is fast and super helpful, and the staff are always friendly and willing to go the extra mile. One of my favorite things is how convenient it is—Wegmans is right downstairs with indoor access, which is a huge plus. The area feels really safe too—I enjoy evening walks to downtown (about 20 minutes). Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great place to live in Reston!

I lived in the Edmund for three years and had to move due to relocation. Overall I enjoyed my stay there and would recommend it to someone looking for an apartment in Reston. Pros: - Great location. The metro station is within 10 mins walk and there is a grocery store right in the building. - Apartment is always clean and well maintained. - Both management team and my neighbors were friendly. - Access controlled parking garage. - Smooth move in and move out experience. - Amenities in this apartment are pretty nice. Cons: - The water pressure was low (I lived in the top floor). And it did take some time to get hot water. - The utility can be high (need to pay both common area and individual electricity charges) - Sometimes it took a bit longer to wait for the elevator

The apartment is in a good location and well maintained. Wegmans downstairs is such a convenience. Safe area to walk your pet and stroll around. The maintenance requests are resolved in a timely manner. The gym is well equipped and the outdoor workout area is a plus. But the washer and dryer are tiny, walls are thin. Worth calling out the behavior of a certain K folks who try to manifest their native fallacies through subtle gestures and comments against other residents in the common areas like elevator and gym. It's ludicrous and ironical to say the least, matter of time before the others put them back in place given the numerous shared experiences. The other residents are cordial.

I’m honestly confused by some of the negative reviews for The Edmund. My experience has been great. Amira was an absolute pleasure to work with — professional, patient, and helpful throughout my move-in process. She made the transition smooth and stayed in touch every step of the way. Like any new place, I had a couple of minor issues in my unit early on, but they were addressed quickly and efficiently by the team. The building itself is beautiful, well-maintained, and conveniently has a Wegmans right downstairs — which is a huge plus. Some of these 1- and 2-star reviews seem to come from people with unrealistic expectations. One person even complained that there’s no playground… seriously? We lived 9 days in one of the apartments on the 6th floor, view to south west. Great sunsets, excellent space and quiet. Close to Metro, proxm. 10 Min walk. We can highly recommend this place!!
