The Desert Shack

This was the best Airbnb we have ever stayed at. Clean, cozy and comfortable. We enjoyed the sunshine and sunsets. Now we know where the term painted desert came from. The kitchen was amazing. We made a wonderful Italian dinner. The olive oil bar is such a great idea. Also the coffee bar was enjoyed for breakfast. We also loved the jacuzzi at night along with stargazing. So many stars! The shower in the main bathroom was a delight after hiking. The cozy robe was appreciated after my shower. We will definitely be back! Thank you so very much!!!

I cannot say enough about The Desert Shack! This was my third stay and it was amazing again. The sunsets were some of the best I have seen in my long life. I love that it feels totally remote but you are only minutes from Palm Springs or the Outlets! What a wonderful, unique retreat and place to truly relax and enjoy each other as well as the nature surrounding the property. The time and effort that has gone into the design, the décor and every detail in the house is inspiring and unlike any place I’ve stayed ! Every where you turn is something else unique. Then in the kitchen the host has not held back on anything! Every appliance and kitchen tool you might want is at your finger tips. Beautiful dishes, glassware, flatware, coffee bar, olive oil bar(!!!) and views out every window while

We had an incredible stay at The Desert Shack. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the cool desert vibes. The location is fantastic with tons of hikes and trails nearby. The house is spacious and gave our family room to relax and unwind. We especially loved the attention to detail in the decor—and we spent a lot of time in the pool and spa and played horseshoes for the first time. One of our favorite things was the big kitchen. We were able to cook up together as a family and then eat outside as the sunset, it was gorgeous and a great time for the family. Palm Springs is right down the road and we spent some time there but it was nice to go “home” and feel like we were really in the desert. We had the pleasure of staying at "The Desert Shack" 5/28-5/31,2024. We needed some R & R and this met our need. A roomy, comfortable home with all the comforts to make our stay , wanting to return again. Loved the beautiful large kitchen with the hand crafted wood countertops. Had everything (and more) we could possibly need. Large living room with lots of seating to choose from. Of course the jacuzzi (heated upon arrival & waiting for us) was perfect. Had a set of jets pulsing from neck to spine put my husband into bliss,...till I insisted on my turn! We also enjoyed discovering the eclectic collections the owners incorporated into their home. The doors are truly awesome. There is a large pool with lounge chairs facing the views of the snow capped mountains. Sitting outside mornings

The desert shack is a quirky blend of rustic outdoors and modern comfort. The artistic details are straight out of a magazine. But what I appreciate most is the ability to just stay at the house and relax as well as the option to take a short drive to so many fun things if I so choose. I especially loved the salt water spa! We will definitely be back the next time we’re craving a little solitude and sun.
