The Cottages at Lakesite

This place is amazing, both the management "Scott" and the location. It's perfect for those who prefer the slower pace of life but close enough to everything the big city has to offer. There's a 24hr gym located in the shopping plaza near by that has a wonderful staff, just minutes from the county park and plenty of hiking trails and places to launch a canoe or kayak within miles. My wife and I enjoyed our time there and the neighbors are very friendly. It honestly felt as close to home as one could ask for. In short I highly recommend!!

Scott is beyond helpful and handled all needs in a timely manner. If you’re looking to rent an apartment i highly recommend him and the cottages. Always clean and parking lot and grass always maintained so coming home is easy and peaceful. 5 stars across the board.

Lived there for 10 years, and most of those were pleasant. Convenient location, decent sized apartments, and pretty quiet neighborhood. They had a "no pets" policy that apparently didn't apply to everyone. Witnessed several new tenants who had pets and nothing was ever done. Witnessed small children running wild in the parking lot on multiple occasions without a guardian. Management was notified for the safety of the children but again it fell on deaf ears. At the time, management (Jillian) was subpar.

We are so grateful to Scott, for helping my husband and I into this wonderful complex. He also helped my daughter, her husband and our mom & sister into different units. We are so blessed. Scott and his staff have keep inside and outside beautiful. The Cottages at Lakesite is a great place to live. Thank you Scott

RENT INCREASE OF MORE THAN 30% IN LAST TWO YEARS!! My rent has increased by $409 per month to stay here over last two years. Last year monthly rent increased $160. This year rent will increase another $249. It’s unconscionable how the owners fleece their tenants. Lots of single moms stay here. It’s a shame they are being taken advantage of in times such as these. Whatever starting rent may be, don’t expect it to stay that way after the lease ends. I can’t say enough hateful words to describe the behavior of sticking it to people who are struggling to raise a family. They will tell you it’s because of “market value”. That means since others are crooking people they feel justified in doing the same. Shame on them!! Added…Owners responded as if I was wrong about something I pay per month. Wh
