They represent illegal properties that have been built on land that is Federally recognized as belonging to the Shinnecock people, who are native to the area and still live there. The Indian No intercourse Act prohibits the sale or transfer of tribal lands without Federal approval. This means at any time, the BIA could order the removal of that property at the developers expense, and the homebuyers will have bought a whole load of nothing. So like, even if you were excited about settling on Native Land, and hated the Landback movement (it's not even land "back", as this property is on land that has never been ceded), this Real Estate firm is willing to sell you a house that legally should not exist.
