Roommate & I put down a $150 refundable security deposit each (totaling $300), as well as a combined cleaning deposit of $350 that is non refundable. The charges we received after moving out were for $311, but instead of taking that amount out of the cleaning fee, they took it out of our security deposits and a $200 pet deposit. They aren't going to give us back our security deposits saying that we have no proof we didn't leave the apartment a mess (we didn't) & now claim it cost over $650 to clean the entire place. Be incredibly careful when signing leases with them, take a lot of pictures of everything when you move out and make sure they offer to do a walk through with you, or they'll take everything they can get from you. Update: Ended up moving out after a bad resident manager. She no longer works there, hopefully they hire someone better. Based on my experience, avoid if you have cats. UPDATE 2: paid hundreds in deposits, got $64 back. Definitely avoid, save money and rent elsewhere.

Was told I could be put in a unit in July. I put in an application and was told I would receive an email that night with other documents I needed to fill out to move in. Didn't receive the email for three days so I called and was told that "the information wasn't updated when I came in" and that they "weren't going to have an apartment for me." Incredibly frustrating because I could have been looking at other housing in the three days I was waiting for an email. I don't even think they were planning on calling me to inform me either. Definitely lacking in professionalism and common courtesy.
