The City Apartments

I currently live here. Considering a snowstorm has been bound to come this whole week you’d think they would plan to have someone to clear off the ramp to get out of the parking garage on the 4th floor. It’s currently covered in snow and looks so unsafe to go down. They never salt it when it’s cold and I’ve slid down the ramp backwards multiple times almost ruining my car. Considering we pay monthly to park they should maintain the open parking areas of the garage better. Unclear on how to get in contact with management and overall unresponsive.

Hear me out... The model apartments were nice and our tour guide was very nice. HOWEVER, the smell upon walking in the main doors was atrocious. And each floor up to the 5th floor smells weird. One star for the area and smell. Two stars because the new guy was super nice. He was able to answer all my questions and he said it was his 2nd day on the job. Based on the other comments, it's a no for me.

The amenities are amazing and truly set this place apart. They have so much to offer, and you can tell they really care about creating a comfortable and enjoyable living experience for residents. The community is well-kept, welcoming, and has such a great atmosphere.

Clear disclaimer, I am not a tenant, nor an applicant. The City is a part of Oakwood Management, which uses their own self-managed Buckeye Utility sub-metering services (if you are unaware of sub-metering, look it up), which are owned by the SAME PRESIDENT. Upon some research (Check BBB, Google Reviews, Reddit), it'll be apparent that they are notoriously terrible customer service. Atop of this, many of the reviews seem to be additional fluff, which is what even drew me into being interested in this place. I would avoid this place, unless Oakwood decides to stop sub-metering.

The sunset views on the rooftop pool create a beautiful atmosphere! The amenities and location are great!
