The Caroline

‼️Please read as a resident who lived here for 2 years!‼️ I wanted to share my honest experience after living at The Caroline for the past two years before moving out this summer. Unfortunately, my experience was absolutely terrible and here’s why. During my time here, there were multiple car break-ins (including mine) and even apartment break-ins. Living alone, I constantly felt unsafe, which is unacceptable for what they advertise as “luxury apartments.” To make matters worse, the leasing office staff are unfriendly and seem more focused on nitpicking residents than addressing real issues. They once called me in the middle of my workday to tell me I needed to move a pair of shoes I accidentally left outside my door after getting home late from the hospital. Instead of fixing ongoing s

I have lived at The Caroline for over a year and I can certainly say its one of the nicest apartments and experiences I have ever had. The maintenance crew has been quick to solve any issue, very friendly and they go above and beyond to make sure their residents are taken care of. The front office staff is absolutely amazing as well. They are sweet, friendly and when I had to put my cat down they went above and beyond to make sure that I was still doing well. Its a safe area. It also has a decent amount of shops (and a lot of new places opening up) and plenty of things to do. Its not too far away from Houston and close enough to Galveston if you want to head out to the beaches! There are also plenty of nice parks to take your furbabies.

Had a really good tour here. The staff was easy to talk to and answered all my questions without making it feel rushed. The gym has everything I need and the unit stood out immediately. It didn’t have that generic apartment feel and I just felt comfortable being there.. I’m excited about the possibility of moving in soon and really appreciate everyone’s patience with all my questions.

This review applies only to the front office staff. I badgered them numerous times over the past few months as I was trying to decide, after my wife passed away, if I wanted to buy a smaller house, stay in my 3200 sq ft three story townhouse, or move into a nice 2 bedroom apartment. I must have toured five different units at The Caroline several different times since June of 2025. I had question after question. Sometimes I was embarrassed to stop in and ask to see something else or to pose a question. Emma and Amanda were incredible. They were extremely patient with me and even empathized with my position. I have lived at the community for about 3 years now and have just loved my time here. I do not plan on leaving anytime soon! In my time here there have been ups and downs however its an apartment. my issues will be in any apartment i live in and I choose to look past the small things. That's besides the point. I absolutely love where I live and have everything I need! I will start with my apartment. I have a larger 1 bedroom with a study that is used as a play area for my grandkids when they visit. The kitchen is large and I have plenty of space for cooking and baking as I love to entertain when family comes over. As for the community I dont really use any of the amenities but I do know they have some good ones for people who do. The gym looks big with lots of machines but I go walk with f
