I lived in this apartment for two years, and my move-out experience was very disappointing. When I moved out, the apartment charged me for “damage” to the blinds, “damage” to the kitchen counter, and a deep cleaning fee. I can accept the deep cleaning fee because I was in a hurry during my move and did not clean thoroughly. However, the blinds only had one or two slats partially broken from normal daily use. My unit faced direct sunlight, and after two years of heavy morning sun exposure, the material became brittle and easy to break. The blinds were not high-quality to begin with, and I am not even sure if they were new when I moved in. They charged me $105 for this, which I believe should clearly fall under normal wear and tear. During my tenancy, I had reported several window-related re

Overpriced outrageously BEYOND every single apartment building in the area. The building is disgustingly dirty. The office staff are unapproachable and really just dont care. Amenities: for 4700$ they took out every single tv in the common areas, the gym is old and broken; they send constant notices about not congregating in the common areas. Basically stay in your apartment if you have company. We are charged an amenity fee but compared to every other building in this area; we are offered nothing. The printers are often out of ink and paper. But unlike years ago you cant just walk in and tell them. You have to send an email. So if you are in the middle of work, you can finish. The apartments are old and falling apart. Dont be fooled by the pictures. Only a handful of apartments have bee

The Carlyle has a huge rat and roach issue that they cover up, it's really scary, especially when they charge so much to live here. We never have a working elevator, and the rent is so high. Management doesn't care about our complaints, but more so focused on appears of the building.

The Carlyle is a quiet, clean, and well-managed place with great location and fast maintenance. Special thanks to Keycia Stover from the office - she’s always so efficient, kind, and truly helpful whenever I need anything. Highly recommend!

The Carlyle leasing staff helped us picking the right unit for us. They have an array of units that can satisfy people's needs and budgets. Upon arrival, they make you file a "move in checklist" to make sure your apartment is in perfect condition and, if something is wrong, they will fix it in no-time. The maintenance staff is kind and efficient and, as it is true for the leasing staff, they are always down for a chat and a few laughs. I am glad I have the opportunity of living in such a welcoming community. As an international student it is particularly hard to find a place to live in the United States, at the Carlyle this reality is not true and you will feel welcomed no matter where you come from. I will never praise this enough. Moving to the building, my apartment has the cutest view
