Amazing building, even better staff! "I’ve been living at The Battery for a while now, and while the amenities and the views are incredible, it’s really the team that makes this place feel like home. A huge thank you to Veronica May, our Experience Manager. She truly lives up to her title—she is so proactive and always goes the extra mile to make sure residents are happy. Whether she’s organizing a great event or just checking in, her warmth and attention to detail make a massive difference in the daily experience here. The front desk team is also outstanding. Tina Fetty, Cassandra Monroe, and Andy Selke are total rockstars. They are always so professional, welcoming, and helpful whenever I walk through the lobby. It’s a great feeling knowing that the people at the heart of the building ar
I’ve been living here for about six months now, and if I had to sum up my experience in one word, it would be: effort. From the responsive management and free breakfasts every Thursday through Saturday (yes, consistently the entire time I’ve been here) to fun events like pasta-making nights with complimentary food and drinks, I’ve been genuinely impressed by how much care the team puts into making this building feel special. The only downside has been the growing pains of their push toward a “campus lifestyle.” Construction can be a bit disruptive, with occasional fire alarms or generator testing that temporarily cuts power. Still, aside from that, it’s been a fantastic six months, especially considering how affordable it is. Location wise, it’s been amazing to see the riverfront continu
I visited the Battery for the first time yesterday and I must say at first glance it looks like a true gem. Unfortunately I had the most unwelcoming experience with the front desk attendant. She said her name was Katrina or Kathy! Two of my friends and I walked in to the Residence section of the building thinking we were at the hotel. We were there to surprise a friend who was out at dinner with some other friends (surprise her in the room when she arrived from dinner.) The front desk lady asked us where we were headed and I told her that I needed to make a phone call because someone was supposed to meet us at the front. She proceeded to then accuse us of being ignorant to her and not wanting to give her the information. I tried to explain that I was making a call because the person we w

I’m from NYC and I moved here this past summer. The building is super safe and in a secluded area. It’s always clean and I never had an actual problem with my apartment. My apartment specifically balcony view is insane. Ofc the front desk and custodians are great. Only reason I can’t give it a five star is because the amenities. It has nothing to do with the available amenities and more to do with the potential ones that residents don’t have. For example, the hotel that literally connected and share the same name has a basketball court that residents can’t use. Ballers which is also connected to the building has this crazy sports facility that residents still have to pay for. Then add the parking lot fee (it’s high but it no other option). The reason having access to these amenities make
