The Arbor at Halley Rise Apartments

I recently toured The Arbor at Halley Rise with Keenan, and I can confidently say it was one of the best apartment-tour experiences I’ve had. From the moment we started, Keenan was incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely welcoming. He took the time to walk me through the community, amenities, and floor plans in detail answering every question without ever making me feel rushed. His knowledge of the property and attention to what I was actually looking for really stood out. It was clear he cared about helping me find the right fit, not just filling a unit. The property itself is beautiful, well maintained, and thoughtfully designed, but Keenan truly made the experience memorable. The slew of recent negative reviews motivated me to stop procrastinating and post this review. My son and I have been residents at The Arbor for 7 months now. From my first tour with ShuKeia, I felt at home. The building was clearly thoughtfully designed, feeling modern yet warm and inviting. Every interaction I’ve had with the leading/management team has been positive. It is clear they value their residents. Any maintenance requests have been addressed promptly and the amenities/common areas are beautifully done. I find the negative reviews regarding the parking situation to be unfair as it was clearly communicated from day 1 that the parking lot, parking garage, and street parking were not owned/managed by The Arbor. We moved in October 2025 and have been so comfortable and happy here. My husband loves the gyms, we love the coffee bar every morning and the maintenance are so quick and very nice. They installed upgrades for us and did wonderful job. I know we will be happy here in our new home. And the floor plan sq footage is best in whole Reston area. I looked! I love the staff! Always available and sweet.

When I started visiting The Arbor, I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the room and all of the amenities provided. It seemed like a good bargain for the money, until it was not. The new parking is ridiculous. There are zero guest passes issued to tenants, making it nearly impossible for people to visit on a regular basis. Parking prices are outstandingly high, with no 2 hour free parking available. A tenant who pays for a parking spot inside the garage, got a ticket for accidentally parking in a spot that happened to be designated for staff, in a completely empty parking lot. No warning issued first. Absolutely insane. The same tenant was told that a friend could use the EV charger for her car while visiting. Leshea Richardson gave a tour of 3 units! She did not rush me but was very helpful answering questions and as we toured together I enjoyed seeing very spacious units! I noticed the cleanliness as well! Leshea was very articulate as she shared each unit! I am very satisfied with the customer service she provided and the facility on a whole! We will be coming here to rent as our new home soon! Btw the staff was wonderful to meet as well! Thank you all for your time!!!!
