The Apartments at The Sycamores

I recently moved into The Sycamores Apartments and needed some extra space to store my belongings that had arrived from abroad. I decided to rent a storage unit within the complex, and honestly, the whole process was very quick and easy. The same day I went to see them and chose the one that best suited my needs, I was given the key so I could start moving my things in right away. The unit is brand new, very close to my apartment, and located on the ground floor, so there are no stairs to deal with. The price is very reasonable, I would definitely recommend it to other residents who are looking for some extra space.

I had a pleasant stay. I love the location and the management staff are very responsive and super helpful. The grounds are very well kept, and common spaces are cleaned often. This place is a gem if you want to access Reston Town Center - a short 6 min walk - but don't want to pay luxury high-rise prices. There is also a golf course with lovely walking paths on the opposite end. Dogs love it here, and are loved here.

My experience living here has been excellent. The maintenance team is always quick to respond (next morning for late night request), addressing any issues efficiently and without delay. The gym is well-maintained, clean, and has everything needed for a good workout. The staff is friendly and respectful, which creates a welcoming atmosphere.

Leasing Specialist Stephen Proctor has provided excellent service and great communication in all phases of leasing a new apartment. He has promptly responded to questions and offered good advice on the move-in logistics.

Management is really good and courteous. They respond quickly most of the times to any issue you report. we have had 2 major issues, 1. one of the tenants in our building used to smoke w**d and our complete apartment used to smell, anyone who visited us complained about it. We complained many times but management just sent out a notice once to all tenants but the issue still was not resolved for more than a year. We have not had that smell for a couple of months now. 2. We have a rat problem in our apartment, we have caught many rats during our stay and complained many times. The maintenance guys did respond quickly to this but still unable to figure out where they are coming from or prevent them from entering our apartment. this is still work under progress!!!
